Our Little Story

Littlefield Farm is a family run operation traditionally focused on delivering  grain crops. The integration of livestock means the soil has great fertility resulting in top quality yields. Over the last few years we have reimagined what the land is capable of and launched Littlefield Projects and brought in new initiatives to benefit the soil, wildlife and local community.

Our History

Littlefield Farm was bought in 1958 by Richard Chaplin. At the time, Richard bought the farm house and 300 acres of land.

In 1983 the farm was taken over by Richard’s two sons, David and Mervyn. They started to buy all adjoining land and the farm now totals around 950 acres.
