Padel Tennis

We’re joining the padel tennis movement (the fastest growing sport movement in the UK) by building courts at Littlefield Farm. We believe in the benefits of this sport and want to share it with our community.

About Littlefield Padel

We have watched the rapid growth of this sport across major cities internationally and are now bringing padel to the depths of rural Leicestershire. Padel tennis is a racquet ball sport crossed between squash and tennis. The court is smaller than a tennis court and is played in a glass enclosure with a tennis net running through the middle. The reason for the rapid growth of this sport is that it is effortless to play requiring less skill, strength and speed than tennis and so suitable for all ages and abilities.

We’re building a community. A sanctuary for all ages to play sport, have fun and hang out. We want people to socialise and interact with friends or unfamiliar faces whilst exercising.

The court will be overlooking the food forest, a holding of rare breed pigs and a walnut orchard. It is completely secluded so peace and quiet can be achieved whilst playing this sport. We want to give people the opportunity to relax and get away from the stresses of every day life, whether by playing padel or spectating.

Why are we doing this?

Our family have always loved playing sport and seeing the huge mental and physical advantages of engaging in it.
